Novelty shelf
Small, free things with a short shelf life: prompt packs, mini tools and explainers tied to a moment in AI and financial services. Each one has a real expiry date, and when it passes the item stays here, greyed out, but the download comes down.
No sign-up, no prices, no counters. If something is listed as live, you can take it.

Big-News Week Rumour Check Live
Free prompt pack (Markdown) · Added 30 October 2026 · Available until Sunday 8 November 2026, 11:59 PM IST
The first week of November carries a burst of market-moving news, including the US midterm elections on 3 November, and weeks like that are when fabricated claims travel fastest: a cloned executive voice, a doctored “circular”, a fake “breaking” post about a bank or fund. Seven prompts help communications, fraud, service and markets teams pull a claim apart, spot pressure tactics, check a notice against its issuer, run a call-back checklist for voice or video requests, sanity-check the timeline, draft a calm customer holding line, and write the after-action note.
It is strictly non-partisan and about verifying claims, not any outcome. An AI model can’t tell you whether a video is genuine, so the pack uses it to organise checks while the primary source has the final word. Use only synthetic, redacted or already-public material.
Why it expires: it is framed around one news-heavy week. After 8 November the pack comes down.

The AI Haunted-House Audit Live
Free team-review checklist with prompts (Markdown) · Added 26 October 2026 · Available until Sunday 1 November 2026, 11:59 PM IST
A Halloween-week walk through thirteen rooms where AI in lending, payments, fraud and customer service tends to go bump: data leakage, drift, proxy bias, confident hallucinations, prompt injection, deepfake voices, decisions nobody can explain, shadow AI, runaway automation, vendor models you can’t inspect, stale knowledge, bots with no human exit, and decisions with no record.
Each room has the symptom to listen for, one question to ask your team, and one prompt to rehearse the check on synthetic or redacted material. It is a conversation starter for a team review, not a model-risk policy, and it is not about any particular institution.
Why it expires: the spooky framing belongs to Halloween week. After 1 November the pack comes down, even though the failure modes don’t.

Results-Season AI Claims Decoder Live
Free prompt pack and scorecard (Markdown) · Added 23 October 2026 · Available until Sunday 1 November 2026, 11:59 PM IST
Listed lenders and fintechs are publishing their July–September quarter results, and the investor decks are full of lines about AI and GenAI. This pack helps you tell a measured outcome from a press-release adjective: six prompts that pull out every AI claim verbatim, sort it from “number with a baseline” down to “adjective only”, write the follow-up question that would make it checkable, and compare it with last quarter.
It ends with a ten-question scorecard for comparing documents. It is not about any particular company, it works only on public documents, and every figure a model quotes should be checked against the source. It is a reading aid, not investment advice.
Why it expires: it is most useful while results documents are fresh and calls are still happening. After 1 November the pack comes down.

Festive-Season Scam Watch prompt pack Live
Free prompt pack (Markdown) · Added 22 October 2026 · Available until Friday 30 October 2026, 11:59 PM IST
Eight prompts for people who write customer communication or review fraud and complaint queues ahead of the festive shopping peak. They help you draft SMS-length scam alerts, check translations by back-translating them, group synthetic complaints into likely scam patterns, red-team your own customer messages, and write a calm call-centre script for a customer who may have shared an OTP.
The pack is built around one rule: never paste real customer data into a public AI tool. Every prompt works on synthetic or redacted examples, and every output is a first draft for your own fraud, compliance and brand teams to own.
Why it expires: these prompts are most useful in the weeks before the festive rush, while there is still time to brief staff and send alerts. After 30 October the window has largely passed, so the pack comes down.
